Did anyone else think this release was boring? I feel like this album is some how lacking the intensity of the S/T, just my opinion I reckon. The last time I saw Magruder grind was a relapse package tour, just saying.

The last time I saw Magruder grind was a relapse package tour, just saying. Yeah, I said that a page or two ago. I bought all of Mike's Magrudergrind LP's, and all three kill that latest e.p. I think it's just recording though. They'll have to try harder on the next one, unless that's free too.

I thought the EP was almost as solid as the LP, and waaaay better than 'Rehashed'. Just my opinion though.

S/t was a killer cd, but i also like crusher. It's probably not that awesome but still very good. I like everything of them though

I found my Magrudergrind hoodie while digging through all my stuff last night (I just moved back in with my dad). Pretty sure it's a medium. Will sell to anyone interested.

First four tracks are good; Is that Richard Johnson in track 4? I just feel like the last two tracks ruin the pace of the album. While I do like that it was free, the whole Scion ordeal is lame as hell though. I just couldn't get over the logo on the front of the sleeve, that's like something you'd see in mainstream hip-hop.

First four tracks are good; Is that Richard Johnson in track 4? Yeah that's the Grindfather. Plus the guitarist of Pulling Teeth/the dude who runs A389 Records did the guitar solo on the last track. I thought this sucked nut at first but it has grown on me. The production doesn't really work so well though, the guitars are way buried in the mix. And the rap part of Heaviest Bombing wears really thin after a few listens.

i think the s/t was not the best, i think this sucks, and i think rehashed isn't as good as the first 10 tracks of 62 tracks. and i think the shitstorm split is my favorite. i liked them when they toured w/ phobia and skarp, and after that i lost it. especially when the dude who runs punks before profits laid down to me how they have evolved. and i was years deep in fan-dom by then. i really like chris though, that dude rules.

Looking back at MG too, all the material they put out I'd say from maybe the Owned 7" all the way to now (at least what I've heard anyway), they never really got any better. This isn't to say the material they put out is necessarily bad but the quality of everything stayed exactly the same while the attitude got way, way shittier.
Sometimes it happens, I guess. Nothing to do but move on.
