Was in Chattanooga last week as part of honeymoon/vacation festivities, ate lunch at Terminal Brewhouse and had three pints of their Dead Sexy Scottish ale. Incredibly smooth, savory beer that has a sort of vaguely cheesy flavored finish. It's probably the best beer I've had in a while!
Also tried a handful of Alabama beers: had Back Forty Brewing's peanut butter porter; had a nice malty peanut butter taste and packed a wallop at 10.5%. Tried the Hop Revival IPA from Yellowhammer Brewing, very dry but fruity IPA. Lastly, I got a sixer of Trimtab Brewing's IPA, always a nice beer to have. Pretty much a smooth hoppy blonde ale.

Picked a new mixed 12 pack from Genesee Brewhouse: Cream Ale sampler pack. Has three variations of Cream Ale: Imperial Cream Ale, Dry-Hopped Mosaic and Orange Honey. The Imperial and Dry-Hopped are excellen, Imperial being my favorite. The Orange Honey tastes like orange pixie sticks. NOT an exaggeration, it is really disgusting, tastes like fucking candy.

The really bad part is I have 3 more to choke down. I need to find a drinking buddy that can't taste anything that I can split these 12 packs with because the other 2 beers are very good.

Bell's puts out some damn fine brews. A little disappointed they no longer make Smitten though. At least I'm not seeing it in my area. Recently picked up some Genesee Black. It doesn't say it on the can but at 8% I'm gonna call it an imperial lager.

Picked up a six pack of the new Guinness Extra Stout on Saturday. It's a lot bolder and smoother than the regular Guinness, highly recommend if you enjoy dark stouts.

Extra stout is definitely an improvement over the run of the mill Guiness. Recently picked a sixer of Founders Centennial IPA. Looking forward to cracking into that about...now.

If you're able to find Köstritzer, buy as much as you can. Such a great dark stout.

Tried some beers from Evil Twin recently. No Hero (oatmeal stout) and Even More Jesus (imperial stout). Damn fine stuff both of 'em.
