OK, so I talked to him and to clear one thing up he didn't just delete his email address to avoid angry customers. He couldn't afford to keep his domain and so when that disappeared it took that email address with it. But he also said that it doesn't look good for the 5". He's working a day job to try and pay people back money that he owes them. The thing that bothers me is we didn't even make this order until a couple months ago. He's been in this shit for a while now so I don't see why he even accepted my order. Fuck him. But fuck, I don't know what to do. Anyone know any labels that would be interested in releasing this?

I wanna try this place www.inthepockettapes.com/But for some reason they don't want my business and have never replied to any of my messages. Any one use them? Some tapes I've gotten from people here look like they could be from this place because of the O-card thing.

Some tapes I've gotten from people here look like they could be from this place because of the O-card thing. I tried to email them like 2 months ago, too. I also got no response. I checked their facebook page, and a lot of the comments on that page were saying the same thing. I wrote them off.

Yeah it's crazy because Patrick from Scalped uses them. And he says they're great. Oh well.

ARx has plans to release some more tapes this summer and wanted to do a few more than we can do from home. (runs from 100 to 300 copies). I was originally planning on contacting In The Pocket tapes but they recently stopped offering duplicating/imprinting services for some reason... Right now, I'm leaning towards National Audio (they have some cool package deals), but also ran across A to Z Audio as well. Any places you folks can recommend for reliability & efficiency (preferably in the States)?

i've never used their duplication or packaging services, but for just plain ol' blank tapes, NAC is pretty damn good.

I used NAC recently (sort of) and it took 3 months to get my shit. On their website, I'm pretty sure it says the turnaround time is 2 weeks. It was pretty cheap though.

I've used NAC twice now. It took a while the first time with no communication at all. I always had to write and ask what's up. The last time out of the blue I got my test cassette probably close to a month earlier than the first time. If you don't need your tape in a big hurry NAC is cool. Very decent prices. I wanna try A To Z. They told me their turn around time is a week from the time they approve the order.

Just used NAC for the second time. Definitely wouldn't recommend them if you need the tapes quick but their quality is fantastic and the prices are good. They have gotten a LOT busier so their turnaround time from when the tests are approved is closer to a month. Once everything is approved it gets done pretty quick but the people at NAC who are dealing with the client submitted files are definitely the bottleneck. Last time I spoke with Sam at NAC she said they're in the process of hiring more people for that department so hopefully that will improve in time.

NAC is so slow you might as well do a real record.
this kid from LIKE GLUE Tapes got backed up, still has my money and i have people hunting him down.
A to Z never reply to my emails. id love to use them. -if anyone is in contact with A to Z tell em some label(me) who talks up the people who treat him right, wants to do some fucking business..-
also, i looked into doing tapes in malaysia. great prices. tho shipping is either frighteningly high (air) or slowwww(sea). still might do it though.

I did the WIO tape with A to Z, good communication and no complaints, not sure why they aren't getting back to you, Cory!

tape duplication in Canada. I believe I have found the best way to do it (at least if you live in Vancouver).
tapes w/ pad printing @ duplication.ca cases @ Western Imperial j-cards @ "Print Shop" on Commercial Drive
depending on the run it ends up being upwards of $50 cheaper than doing it all at duplication.ca (while it's still a lot cheaper to do it at Western Imperial, they don't do pad printing)
only thing you're paying shipping for are the tapes. everything else is local pickup.

Took them almost six moths for the Sidetracked tape, was ridiculous and they would email me to say they didn't have things I had obviously already sent them.
