"Ramones at 40" by Martin Popoff. Lots of info and cool pictures. If you like the Ramones. If you don't I can see really not enjoying the book.

I've been thumbing through an old Metal Maniacs from 2005 that I found in a box of random bullshit. Nothing terribly thrilling in it but I always liked flipping through Metal Maniacs from time to time.

Were any of them part of the Horus Heresy series? I'm about four in on that one, really enjoying 'em.

I always really liked god bless you mr rosewater and slapstick. I've probably read more Vonnegut than any other author, Slapstick was probably my least favorite though. Entertaining but not a great cohesive story. Most recently I finished God Bless You Dr. Kevorkian, short but had its moments.

Were any of them part of the Horus Heresy series? I'm about four in on that one, really enjoying 'em. About half of them, so 12 or so? If I could recommend anything I would say read the first 4 up to Eisenstein to get the basic story. Then skip to The First Heretic > Know No Fear > Betrayer. Those are probably some of the best to offer. Aaron Dembski-Bowden is the best author hands down for 40k and always gives the Chaos a solid story.

Last time I was at the Barnes & Noble here they had most of, if not all, of that series so I'll be sure to scoop those up when I can. I think Dan Abnett has written my favorite 40K stuff so far, but I can't remember if I've read any of the Dembski-Bowden stuff. I need to revisit some of those anyways.

I'm sort of stuck on Authority. Annihilation was much better.

Recently found a couple of old issues of Erotic Dismemberment. Always fun digging up old zines and flipping through them.
