I've read the comic book, and finished the movie. Awful. The comic was never really ridiculous or over the top, he was just a normal, pissed dude with a lot of guns.

I need to see Human Centipede. It's okay. Not as cool as I was hoping though.

By Ridiculous and over the top I ment the stereotypical comic book movie. But yea the punisher comics I remember reading back in the day were pretty dark most of the time. Well I enjoy Punisher War zone. ahah --- Just saw Paul for free I really really really enjoyed that movie (best new movie I have seen in a while.). I will go see it when it comes out for real.

I kinda dozed in and out watching REPO!: A Genetic Opera the other day. Weird, but not quite awesome-weird. Was acutally a splatter dsytopia sci-fi opera with mostly singing lines.
I Sell The Dead wasn't worthy of Ron Perlman. Or that dude form the hobbits or lost even.

Overall REPO! was OK, but the graverobber goth dude kind of ruined the overall effect. I like musicals too; South Park B,L,U and Rock & Rule were better!

I guess my younger years were pretty empty as I'd never seen any of the Die Hard movies so I plowed through all of them the past week. Pretty good shit, Bruce Willis fucking rules.

I personly Love all the Die Hard Movies. I can understand why people would hate the 4th one (Justin Long as another side kick that isnt Samuel L Jackson), but come on the last 30 minettes of the movie gets fucking crazy. He kills a dude by shooting thru him self and he some how destroys a helicoptor with a car. So fucking badass its retarded. I like Justine Long though, just though he was a odd choice for a sidekick.
Anyone See Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World. I really enjoyed that movie, it was a pop culter orgasum.

I watched Legion last night. Pretty good biblical-horror-apocalypse movie all around. Good characters, goods actors for the entire cast, even bit parts + the 'hip hop dude' that all movies seem to need now.
Kind of a typical plot, but everything else was good enough that I didn't care. Good FX, not crazy overdigital, at least four or five freaky-spooky as fuck parts.
First movie I've made it past the 60 minute mark before checking 'how long to go' all winter.

After almost a week, I've made it through about half of SS Doomtrooper. I really don't have patience to watch one episode of a tv show, let alone a whole movie at once.
I think movies are better enjoyed like books. you don't usually sit down and read a book cover to cover, you read some today, some tomorrow etc etc. same with movies.

I hate going to the cinema because i can't stand standing still for two hours watching a movie.

the first driving scene that ends with him blowing up the helicoptor in Die Hard 4 kicked ass, I didn't think it was a bad movie. Die Hard 1 was definitely the best.
Someone please watch Blood Feast 2 I really want someone to share in the awesome cheesiness of this film.

Maybe Will's got the right idea with watching movies at home. I love watching movies in the theater though. It's the one place I can really focus on the movie because it's the perfect environment for watching one. Just like how I love reading while in the library and can't deal with it anywhere else because the library is the perfect environment for reading (provided you go to one outside of the big city, Providence libraries are full of jackasses that don't shut the fuck up and need to have their heads smashed in).

I find movies to be one of the best ways of getting away from life for a while. When i only see movies in parts it doest have the same immersive effect. But I guess it can be a good and a bad thing.

yea i enjoy going to the theater but it doesn't really happen anymore. i actually hate breaking up movies... gotta watch it all at once to get the full effect, especially if it's a serious flick. used to wake n bake and go see matinees with my wife on sundays. shit was rad because NO ONE is there for the first showings other than kid movies so we almost always had the theater to ourselves.
