I just watched The Gay Bed and Breakfast of Terror. Definitely not as cool as I thought it would be. It was still pretty awesome though.

I strongly believe that people who go watch the Rocky Horror Picture Show on a regular basis are on par with al-Qaeda and child molesters in terms of pure evil and abhorrence. On this above note I better just come out and say I fucking love the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

But are you one of those people who goes and watches it every Friday night in the theater, dresses up for the occasion, brings stuff to throw at the screen, and goes to Denny's afterwards?

As long as you guys aren't part of the subculture, we can agree to disagree.

But still super duper good. I love 'blaxploitation' movies. One of the next electrogrind ep's I'm going to assemble is based around samples from a total cheesefest featuring five or six NFL players as baaaaadassss bikers. I got Pathfinder on $3 DVD at the pawn shop. Pretty kick ass Native Americans vs. Vikings flick.

So the past couple months I've been trying to undo the mistakes of my past by watching all of the great 80/90's action flicks that I never saw. After finishing Die Hard I've now moved on to the Lethal Weapon series.
Now I'll admit, after watching the first two I was a bit disappointed; maybe it was Mel Gibson's mullet, or maybe it was knowing that he went on to make Passion of the Christ, but something about the movies just felt weak. They didn't hold a fucking candle to Die Hard. But tonight, tonight I watched Lethal Weapon 3.
This movie fucking rules. At first I was expecting the usual affair for the series, but when Riggs got a new dog, I knew this one was going to be classic. The action was fucking great but not too overthetop, Joe Pesci played a major role as a gay (I think?) real esate agent sidekick this time around and I really just felt like there were a lot more memorial moments. Highly recommended this movie!

I watched Tetsuo: The Iron Man the other night, not sure what to think of it. Very strange to say the least. Other than that I finally saw Police Academy and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, both of which I enjoyed.

Always thought Tetsuo: The Iron Man was a great bizarre flick. I have the 2nd one on tape too; darker, maybe a bit less bizarre... And in color!
@ Lethal Weapon flix; that's why I say Die Hard movies first. There's a ton of fun 80's + 90's action-adventure movies... Some of the Golan-Globus stuff is esp epic - Cobra, American Ninja movies, Chuck Norris flicks, etc...

I've been wanting to watch Police Academy movies lately, but my library doesn't have any of them.
