I drink mine black, no additives. Also I almost solely drink it at work. I have to be really tired otherwise; I pick some up a lot of the time when making long distance night drives.
Also I'm just slow without coffee at work. Id never screw around on the internet at work, though. I don't want these people knowing about my personal life.

I don't want these people knowing about my personal life. I don't even check my email at work for this very reason. The work computer for me is just for work correspondence, and putting in attendance and grades.

If I don't drink any coffee I will literally just sit here and goof around on the internet for hours and not get shit done. That sounds like my life in a nutshell.

When I worked first shift, I never had any problem getting out of bed and doing what I needed to do before going to work (though it was no secret I would try and cram as much sleep in as possible before I needed to leave the house), I always got to work on time and could function, etc. but I would ALWAYS be really grumpy the first couple hours I was awake.
Now that I work nights, unless it's the rare occasion where I have to work a special day shift for some reason, I don't even think about leaving the house for at least an hour or two after waking up.

I started drinking coffee when I was in junior high to get an energy boost in the morning, now I no longer get that boost but I have to drink it so that I can function at the level I would initially have been at had I not started drinking it in the first place. I do like the taste of coffee when I brew it- fresh ground, French press, strong as fuck. If I sleep in I have to settle for the motor oil at work. I used to have an espresso machine and would make americanos and cappuccinos every now and then but it was a piece of shit that died after just a few months, and the steamer was such a pain in the ass to clean.

I don't drink coffee enough to experience any negative effects, but I always load it up with a ton of sugar & milk (preferably Coffee Mate French Vanilla) when I make it, or end up ordering some crazy sweet frozen concoction at DD or Starbucks. weeeee!

We've got our own blend at work through jada bug, who I think are a local company. Even though I work at night/the afternoon, I'll still slam a cup when I get there to get through prep and then usually another one right before dinner service to keep me on point. Sometimes I'll make an espresso, but I usually don't feel like fucking with the machine.

I would recommend rotating off b-alanine (or other aminos used to boost energy like l-arganine) about a week every two months because you can build a tolerance, and for me they put me in a bad mood after a few months of low dose use.
