Anyone ever traded with a guy named Rudy Carrillo? He's from Denver, Colorado and does a label called Nervous Breakdown.
We traded back in December and i send him 5x LPS and 17x 7"s as soon as we'd finalized the trade. I waited a couple of months and got nothing, so i decided to get in touch to see what was with the hold up. Since then i've e-mail him numerous times and had NO REPLY.....not even a "sorry, i'll get these to you soon".....not a word from him.
I seem to remember seeing some of his releases in the Give Praise and TLAL online distros, is that right? If so, how was he with you guys?
On my front - people like Paul Praise can vouch for me as i'm very quick and efficient when it comes to sending out trades. So there is no fault on my part. But this is taking the piss

These are some of the titles he owes me...
Scott Baio Army / The Lumps split 10", Dethbox "s.t" 7", Catheter / Wojczech split tour edition 7", Impaler / Black Market Fetus 7"ep, ROSKOPP / SUPERBAD 7" split, No Policy / Zach the Cuntry Wonder split 7"
I look on your distro and the give praise one fairly regularly and i seem to remember seeing some of these on there.

Looking at his e-mails again, most of the stock we traded was under the 'bad people records' name and only the most recent release was under 'nervous breakdown'
His original e-mail says he has a store in Denver. It blows my mind that he hasn't replied to me in 4 months when he owns a store and probably checks his mail daily if he's regularly trading with labels.

Hmmm.. Bad People Records is Haraldo from Catheter's label. I traded with him and the dude from 303 Records (who put out stuff in your list) but only in person, not via mail since they're here all the time.

something about bad people/Catheter/denver/etc makes me wonder. Haraldo is always super nice, but trading with him/them is something i've avoided for the most part.

I've traded with that Rudy dude before, everything went smoothly. A few months ago, sometime in '09, he emailed me again asking if I had any new stuff and did I want to trade, and when I responded, I never heard from him again. Also one of the dudes from Roskopp did the same thing, said he wanted to trade, then said he wasn't ready and never re-contacted me. bummer.

I'm wondering whether it might be worth getting in touch with whoever does Bad People and asking them if they can talk to this him seeing as he's distributing their titles. Can anyone help me out with a contact for Bad People?

Speed Thrash Attack records from Indonesia. It may have been a slight mistake on his part but he ripped me off for a bit of cash, luckily not too much. Sigh.
Lets see how it pans out I guess.

I've noticed there's so many great bands from Indonesia, but when it comes to labels/people to trade with, that's where I've gotten burned a couple times.

He was supposed to send me cash for an Archagathus shirt + some tapes for a trade, luckily I didn't send anything because he was partially buying something. Never showed up, he changed his myspace page and now neither receives messages from non-friends nor friend requests from band pages, so fuck it.

I am lucky enough to get two out of three things from that asshole.
What sucks is that he is putting out a comp with a load of bands from around the globe, my band is on it. So there are two tracks that will be held up forever.
Bullshit Propaganda is the real deal though ;D

i really want those tapes too!

I don't think Jay is a rip-off, they're just all ass-backwards lately for some reason. I bet he comes through sooner or later.

I preordered a bunch of Altars stuff (tapes, shirt, split ep) from Occult Contemporary back in September. I waited for awhile, since they said it may take some time for all of that stuff to come out. I finally contacted them in December, and they said that the order slipt by, and that I'll get it in a week. Still nothing, and they continue to avoid my emails. I have even contacted Altars since it's their label, and at first, I got a response, but now nothing. I always try to give labels/distros the benefit of the doubt but, it really isn't hard to reply to a fucking email. And to put the final cherry on top of the pile of shit, the Occult Contemporary website has a fucking swastika on it now.
