Traffic. It basically took me an hour and a half to get from the last rest area on the NJ Turnpike to the toll gate for the George Washington bridge... a distance I'd estimate at being about five miles.

Speaking of snow, I took the leaf blower out of the trunk of my car today and tried to blow all the snow off the back porch (I'm at my mom's place right now). I stuck the tube down in the snow and some of it exploded all over me. It didn't rule at the time, but now that I think about it, it's actually really amazingly awesome.

The drive back only took 9 hours and 40 minutes. New record.
I had a good time while home myself, I didn't really want to leave.

That's what I'm saying. Fuck North Carolina, for real. There's worse places I could be living for sure and there are redeeming qualities of this state, but I miss New England too much.

What in the hell is with people and small talk anyway? Why are 99% of people so fucking stupid that they feel the need to say "It sure is cold out today" or something similar... gee, like I didn't know it was cold out, I've been the one standing outside while you've been sitting in your heated car, and it didn't even occur to you that five billion people already came through making the SAME FUCKING CONVERSATIONS AND I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT.

I hear ya on that dude. It seems the more ass-y it is outside at the bus stop, the more people want to chit chat about it. Or whine. As if I actually care.

Yeah really... the thing that kind of sucks about working at a full serve gas station like I do is that the shittier the weather is, the more people there are that show up. People kept apologizing about the fact that they were showing up to get serviced, like I give a shit I mean, it's my job. What was I expecting, that since it was shitty outside everyone would want to give sympathy to me and go pump their own gas? As if. And then telling me to stay warm... how the hell am I supposed to stay warm if I'm working outside? You want to help me stay warm (no you actually don't I know how people are), then go to a self-serve station. I put on five layers, two pairs of pants, two pairs of socks, a hat, and gloves so I could deal with it being 17 degrees out, don't pretend to worry about me...

I am an unbelieveable dumbass for spilling pasta with tomato sauce all over my white futon THE DAY AFTER my dad offers to give me a cover for it and I decline.
Though I did scrub it with diluted bleach water and it looks pretty good considering.
