I feel you brother, I've definitely thrown my back out before. This sounds a bit corny but planking has helped me out a lot strengthening those muscle groups

I've gone back to doing Yoga again for my back and knee pain. Doing kettlebell workouts as of late has thrashed me. Yoga has been helping tremendously.

I've been doing stretches every morning, at least most mornings, for a while now. It's helped some but I must have fucked up in just the right way cause the last week has been mighty shitty.
