is anything from Knucklescraper still available by the way? Both are out of print as far as I know. Good luck finding either.

Count me in as another one who wished that Tumor Feast had more material.
I wish Deceiver from Maryland had more attention while they were active. All they released (to my knowledge) is two demo tapes, and, hopefully, their posthumous split EP with Kamikaze Noise (also dead, but half of them are active in Lotus Fucker) will be released eventually...

I had a Deceiver demo tape, but I put it in my friend's car's tape deck and it wrecked it. That stupid bitch.

La Piovra
I just picked up The First Discovered Treasures. Holy shit, everything about these guys was awesome. Solid as fuck rhythm, vocals, pounding bass, perfect mix. A real shame. Really upbeat groovy hardcore.

I dunno what's going on with Dead Stare, I think they might be releasing the split with HoD and calling it quits. Hope that's not the case. Dead Stare completely qualifies. They did two cassettes and the split with us, all superb (if a little muddy). They did the first 4 shows of our tour last year (in Seattle/Tacoma/Portland) and then suddenly broke up. I keep bugging Taiga (singer) to start a new band and record the new jams he had written when they stopped. Good news though, the DS/HOD split 7" has been pressed and should finally be released shortly. -Mike

In regards to the HoD/DS split:
"Sonic blasts of face peeling hardcore. 10 songs total and under 5 minutes. And both do a No Comment cover. Your shit will be wrecked! 385 pressed on black."
So glad I've been waiting ages for less than 5 minutes of music. I'm sure it'll still be fucking great, but goddamn.

Which goes back to why DS is in this thread. I haven't timed their total recorded output, but I'd bet it doesn't surpass 15 minutes.
Maybe Will should do a DS 10" discography. ;D
When they broke up we didn't know for several months if they still wanted to release the split w/ HOD. That's why it was on the backburner for so long. The split is more to honor DS's memory and short timespan than anything. -Mike

Well I'm glad it's still coming out, and No Comment covers are cool by me, the comparison and obvious homage is what drew me to them in the first place.
