Exitium Terror and Karies, both were really promising grindcore bands from Finland.

Here's one: Cigar.
Possibly the most talented skate-punk band to walk the earth. Mind-blowing musicianship and songwriting ability. Released one incredible album in 1999, spent the next 9 years releasing nothing and then broke up.

Prophecy of Doom should have put out more, but at least now we have Alehammer. Saw them last night, the drummer was kind of lame but other than that pretty solid. Nice guys.

I always wished Warzone Womyn would've done more... Same with They Live. I know WW had a good run, and wasn't very obscure, I just wanted an LP though. I love the shit out of Knuckle Scraper, that band was fucking gooood.

Call me crazy, but I was never really too into Warzone Womyn. They Live was fucking awesome to me, but maybe that's because they pretty much lifted their sound from Voorhees.

He pretty much stated exactly the way I feel about it, I could get through their half of that split LP with Endless Blockade without any problems but it wasn't the easiest record to listen to all the way through.

HOLY SHIT. I completely forgot about this band! I had a demo CD of theirs a while ago and while I only very vaguely remember what it sounded like, I remember it kicking ass.

Yeah, Hey J, this thread is for bands that are broken up already, but you wish they weren't.
Unless I misunderstood that is.
