I hate when bands change their style completely, change your damn band name, or at least call it like "the noisecore EP" for the rest of us not to buy.

I dont mind if its still good... Most bands change over time, but it is kinda wierd when they jump around from style to style....

Are you referring to anyone in particular? Cryptopsy comes to mind, but they've always kind of sucked so I don't care anyway.

Malignant Tumour comes to mind, but their change of style has always been a bit more gradual.

Just got a Hatred Surge 7" that had a bunch of noise on it and I didn't love it. There are some other bands. I don't think I'm stoked on the IW noise 7". I remember Cave In a long time ago changed their sound from pretty much alright metalcore to pretty pop-ish music. Same thing happened with Codeseven (who were hometown heros). Torche changed their sound a lot, but I dig it.

Yea, I'm not digging the new Godstomper shit too much. I guess they just did a 7" for BTA Records and it's noise stuff again.

i wish cannibal corpse would've changed their name when barnes left, but i doubt anyone here even likes old cannibal corpse Old Cannibal Corpse is much better than new. Corpsegrinder is just a homophobic jock who plays World Of Warcraft, and his vocals sound like an old man with a watermelon stuck in his throat.

i think new corpse is just as good as the old stuff, i'm a fan of all of it. i don't know anything about corpsegrinder but i always thought chris barnes was a total tool anyway also.

I always liked Monstrosity more than Cannibal Corpse, I wish Fisher had stayed there and Corpse had stuck with Barnes.

cannibal corpse with corpsegrinder would be more tolerable if they did the noble thing and changed names when barnes left

Malignant Tumour comes to mind, but their change of style has always been a bit more gradual. exactly, i think their sound was always influenced by the band bilos (vox./guit.) was listening to at each episode of their existence.. it looks to me like this: Carcass-->Regurgitate-->Agathocles-->Motorhead ;D

The new Dangers album may be a change in style. I still dig what I`ve heard though.
