My friend tried to get me into reggae so I have a bunch of rad reggae in my computer, other than Real Reggae. Both real reggae and Real Reggae rules. Confused yet?

Ah, reggae. Reminds me of when I used to work at Papa Murphy's and when we'd be closing down shop, we'd be playing a bunch of Bob Marley.
I like a lot of different non punk stuff, mostly hip-hop/rap/cheesy 80's stuff. Wu Tang ODB Atmosphere Doomtree Fugees Lil Jon Billy Idol The one hit wonders of such stars as Wham!, Billy Ocean, Rick Astley, etc. Three Six Mafia GZA
... the list could go on haha.

Hahahaha, made my day. just to clear things up, didn't mean that as a slam, I just thought it was interesting considering you're the only person besides my girlfriend that I've ever heard of listening to Arlo/ Woody Guthrie. And with that being said, every once in a while I'll even put on Hobo's Lullaby on my own hahaha.

Wasn't taken as a slam, all good!
Not really into Arlo though, except that Alice's Restaurant tune. But I probably listen to that once a year at most... haha.

I'm so fucking grateful you people aren't emo enablers or nu-metal enthusiasts and you actually listen to respectable music outside of this scene. Seriously.

There is way too much music out there to just list here. All I feel compelled to add in is that Frank Zappa's work leading the Mothers of Invention is some of my favorite music ever.
Justsayno, how much folk music do you have in your collection. Is it all American folk music or do you have some foreign styles in their too, like Celtic or Klezmer? I don't have as much as I would like to, but I've kept up a bit with the Smithsonian Folkways compilations as well as a few other releases.

I listen to a lot of blues and hippity hops. Indie rock is probably my favorite genre, but by that I mean bands like Avast!, Karate, American Football etc. I can dig on at least one band in most genres other than contemporary country, modern "screamo", deathcore and nu-metal.
