If memory serves me right we don't have a thread about this, so what have you guys been playing lately?
I have a tendency to be a bit of a Nintendo fanboy when it comes to games, though it wasn't that way as a kid. My young cousins have a Wii and I played some Super Mario Bros. Wii over there last night... made me wistful for SMB3 so I got a Nintendo emulator and gave that a whirl. Not to mention since it's a Wii obviously we did some bowling and I played some baseball. That stuff never gets old. Going through a couple Zelda games. Got stuck on Oracle of Seasons. Also kind of stuck on the Minish Cap right now. I keep using the strategy guides on these games because I'm a huge pussy. I also want to add... I LOVE METROID. Super Metroid is one of my favorites of all time but there's just no challenge in it anymore. Overkilled for me.

Super Metroid is easily the best Metroid game to date, though I haven't tried the new one they came out with for the Wii. The first person ones weren't that great but they were a fun playthrough.
I've been playing Little Big Planet 2 a lot lately. Supremely rad platformer with a really robust level creator and really great physics engine. You could seriously never run out of levels because people are constantly churning them out and putting them up online.
Overall though I tend to stick to PC gaming for the most part. If a game comes out on all platforms I'll always get the PC version.

I've been going on a bit of a Zelda kick lately as well. We just recently hooked up the gamecube at my buddy's house and I've been trying to get all the masks in Majora's Mask. Also occasionally hook up the nes and play the original. Other than that it's Soul Calibur II, in which I normally choose Link. Haha.

Man I got stuck on Majora's Mask... can't figure out how to get into the snow temple. You know, where the giant Goron is blowing wind in your face.

You have to learn the Goron Lullaby and play it as the Goron to make him fall asleep. I don't remember where you learn the song though.

me too. also been playing call of duty black ops when i go over to my buddy's house, thank christ my sister's xbox360 doesn't have internet because i would buy that game and never be heard from again. the nazi zombies mode is especially rad/challenging. also majora's mask is fucking hard, i have never managed to beat the entire thing. ocarina of time is my jam but i've beaten it soooo many times now.

They definitely raised the difficulty level going from Ocarina of Time to Majora's Mask, that's for sure. I've been trying to beat that one without the strategy guide. Since I'm playing on ROMs, I've been cheating to get through the Minish Cap and Oracle of Seasons at times because I'm a wimp.

Oh fuck yea. The level and puzzle design in Majora's Mask is just ridiculous. It's only about four dungeons total but it takes so goddamn long to figure out what to do, and the three day thing always kicks you in the balls. I beat Minish Cap when it came out. I think I might replay it, as I remember it being a lot of fun, and that I wish there was more shit to do.

Haven't played a lot lately, just a bit of Red Dead Redemptiom: Undead Nightmare, and it just makes me feel that i should play the main game first. And i really should start my Mass Effect replay so i could get on with ME2.

I'm bad at keeping up with games. Is Portal 2 out yet? How is that new-ish Civilizations?

Portal 2 in April I think. Looks good, will be better once they merge it with HL2.

Most fun I've had with a game in a while.
