I finished them a couple days ago and was really unimpressed with the new season. It was the worst season yet, without a doubt. NOT ONE FUCKING CHICKEN DANCE ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!?!?!?!?! I blame it on Michael Cera as he insisted on being a writer for this season when he was not in the past, I can only assume that's why this season centered around him while the characters who are actually funny (Gob, Buster, Tobias) seemed tacked on. It definitely suffered from trying to cram so much info in though I still thought they did a good job of utilizing the same sort of "circular" style where you see a scene from one character's perspective and then several episodes later see something revealed about that same scene from a different character's perspective that you weren't aware of initially. They certainly left it open ended so hopefully there will be more! I'd give the season a 3.5/5 as opposed to the 5/5 I'd give the first 3 seasons.

Twin peaks is the best murder mystery show of all time. Nothing will ever match it. I watched hemlock grove and loved it. If anyone started watching it and stopped after the first episode, you should keep watching. It gets pretty awesome and certain characters get really dark. Just watched through freaks and geeks again and am getting ready to start undeclared. Classics.

Started watching the first ep of Hemlock Grove the other day and it looked like it was just going to be a show about werewolves so I kinda quit out on it... is that the case?
Freaks and Geeks rules, a damn shame there wasn't more than one season.

There's more to it than just werewolves but the werewolf side of it is done well in my opinion. It flirts with some taboo sexual tensions and throws in a slight sci-fi effect which are things that had me hooked. And yes it's a damn shame freaks and geeks was cancelled. Another one of those "don't know what ya got till its gone" type things for the network it was on. Boneheads!

Been watching a bunch of TV lately.
Finished the first season of House of Cards which is a really good political drama with Kevin Spacey. Would highly recommend if you're into that sort of thing... or even if you're not, I hate those political shows!
Finished the first season of Orange is the New Black which I had my treppidations about initially, but it's actually pretty good. About a yuppie chick who used to run drugs getting sent to prison years later when somebody rats her out. Sometimes serious, most of the time funny, pretty good watch.
Just started re-watching X Files from the beginning. This might be my favorite show ever on television. I watched that shit religiously when it first came on up through season 5 or 6 (when Mulder disappears) and then quit out. Even only 3 episodes into the first season I'm hooked all over again. On a similar note I tried watching Fringe a little while back after hearing it compared to X Files and I'd just like to formally say that show is fucking terrible and NOTHING like X Files aside from the fact that it has to do with the supernatural.
I WANT TO BELIEVE

THANK YOU! I thought Fringe sucked too... no comparison to the X-Files masterclass

I could see why you think it's overrated if you just got through most of the 2nd season. After they showed who the killer was the creators left because they were doing other shit at the time and basically left the show to a whole different group of writers who sucked. They came back at the end though. The last episode is the weirdest episode of any TV show ever.

I have tried multiple times to watch Twin Peaks and I just can't get into it. On paper it seems like something I would absolutely LOVE but it bores me to tears every time.

I totally did not understand this when it was posted because I hadn't seen this movie and hadn't realized Data planted an emotion chip within himself. Fucking hilarious.

The ending to Breaking Bad was good, as expected. The ending to Dexter was fucking awful... like maybe the worst episode in the whole series.

Season 4 of east bound and down is great. Only 4 episodes in but it is kicking ass. I think this season might be a sneaky one.

I've been watching the first two seasons of Perception. It is a typical whodunit-style show where the officials (FBI) have one guy with a special gift (paranoid schizo neurologist) who helps them solve crimes. FFO shit like CSI, Bones, Psych, Monk, etc.

Been making my way through The Office, it's funny but Steve Carrell's character is so goddamn annoying.
