I remember liking trigun. I don't get into anime these days but I used to love all the toonami and adult swim stuff back in the day. Rurouni Kenshin, cowboy bebop, yu yu hakusho and of course classics like akira, ninja scroll and ghost in the shell.

Nevermind, it's only the first episode in its entirety. But, it rules.

Twin peaks is the best murder mystery show of all time. Nothing will ever match it. Twin Peaks is the best show of all time, period. Agreed! followed closely by breaking bad. on the opposite end, can anyone else back me up on the fact that Mad Men, Walking Dead and Grey's Anatomy are tied for the most horrendously written/directed/acted tv shows that are pretty much beloved by nearly everyone? has anyone said that on this thread? I'm too lazy to backtrack

New adult-oriented ultraviolent/grossout cartoon called King Star King is really fucked up, in a good way! Check out full episodes here: www.adultswim.com/king-star-king/Stayed up all night watching Trailer Park Boys season 8 on Netflix. It was much better than expected, and was more entertaining than the rehash of Arrested Development imo.

Watched two episodes of Orange is the New Black, I don't know who it was that said otherwise, but hot Donna is still pretty hot.

Hot Donna is DEFINITELY still hot. Probably not something I would watch on my own but it's a good one to watch with the wife and it's not a bad show.
Lately it's been Trailer Park Boys for me. Tried watching it forever ago and didn't dig it but went back and started at the beginning about a month ago and I just started season 4 this morning, It's amusing but I don't think I find it as funny as everyone else seems to. Lahey's shit-talk is probably my favorite.
Season 3 of New Girl just went up on Netflix so I've been watching that with the wife. Despite the first episode or two being not that great I find this show to be hilarious... like, makes me genuinely laugh out loud almost every episode, and not many shows do that regularly. Zooey Deshanel or whatever isn't that funny (or funny at all really) but the three guy roommates are great, especially Winston, who doesn't show up until a few episodes into the first season. It probably qualifies as a guilty pleasure or a chick show or something but it rules.

I loved this new season of TPB, and actually think it would be my favorite season so far if it wasn't so short. I also agree with you about New Girl, Ryan. I wrote it off until I actually started watching it with my girlfriend and saw that it was pretty damn funny.

Yep, New Girl from outside appearances seems like it would be awful... and really it should be, quirky major network comedy etc etc, but somehow it transcends everything it has going against it.

Yeah, should've clarified that aside from hot Donna making out with girls and sweet boobie shots, Orange is the new black was definitely girly. Plus her scientology lingers in the back of my mind.
On the last season of the office and also started Undeclared, another failed Judd Apatow show after freaks and geeks. It's pretty cheesy so far but kind of funny.

Bojack Horseman, if you haven't watched it, GO DO IT.
Also I've been chiseling into Arrested Development.

AD is amazing. I wish I could erase my memory and go back and watch it from the beginning again.
I have Bojack in my Netflix queue, I think that'll be next once I finish TPB.

Orange is the new bla. There were episodes that were amazing and episodes that were kinda bad. I did hear the second season is better then the first. Piper is one of the most annoying main characters EVER. So many more dynamic and amazing characters then piper the Generic white woman with generic white woman problems.
Undeclared is worth a watch. Its cheesy and not as consistently good as Freaks and Geeks. I would recommend "kids" watch that instead of going to college.
Silicon Valley is great, go forth and view it my friends for it is decent and worth time.

I finally got one of those digital antennas so I can watch local channels, so I've been watching Community lately since they show two episodes in a row at 11:30. It's pretty good and Alison Brie is a babe.
