I figured it'd be good to have a thread similar to the one in general discussions for things that aren't worth their own thread but are more geared towards music. On that note...
Profane Existence is trying to dump all their stock and selling most everything super fucking cheap ($2 CD $1 7" $5 LP for some releases). Figured I'd let you dudes know in case anyone was interested.

I need another box for LPs. The ones I have are almost five years old and filled basically to capacity. They came from the pizza place I used to work at and are absolutely PERFECT for LPs.
I've also been digging through my records for gems. So much stuff in my boxes that reminds me of times in my life when I was dumber and had accomplished slightly less than I have now.

I found this before my time local 7" in my box. Haven't listened to it in ages, can barely remember what it sounds like. It'll be getting a spin now.

"If you drove up to a house party on a winter night, when it’s too cold to stand outside, they’re the four guys standing outside the house, on the front porch, drinking cold beer, cause either they can’t get into the party, or they don’t want to be inside the party. Those are your Black Sabbath fans. The lonely stoners. Uh, the ones that congregate and party in the woods, not at the dance, THAT’S a Black Sabbath fan. Cause lyrically, it’s potentially some down-and-out stuff - not “Hey, let’s all get together and dance to this”. Nahhh."

Perfect timing. My buddy Mike wanted me to post a link to his discogs seller page. He has some cool stuff. And even has a Morose//Wake The Machines split tape that was limited to like 40 or something and has been sold out for a while. www.discogs.com/seller/Mikerdeath925

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Cannibal Corpse has used the same drum tracks for every albun they've ever released, just recording new material over them with each subsequent release.

I can't stop listening to King Diamond's Abigail album. Even though I don't have anything else like that on my ipod or anything. I do have a Judas Priest LP or two but really, my library lacks that kinda stuff. And nothing else really lives up to that album for me.

I actually like Don't Break the Oath better, but I think it's a matter of the album you hear first you like the best.
