Because our LP that was recorded back in May is still not out yet (one more month fingers crossed) we decided to record a tape. We went back and re-recorded the songs we still play live from the "Highlife" LP, Demo, and first 7" with Adam Jennings on vocals. These versions DECIMATE the originals. We made 50 band copies to sell at shows, but the pro tape will be released on To Live a Lie in about a month or so. 200 copies on pro printed cassettes. It will be available from To Live a Lie and Diseased Audio once it is released. You can stream it all here. Once it is available from To Live a Lie, I will allow the downloads. Thanks for supporting us. BLAST ENLIGHTENENT! sick-tired.bandcamp.com/album/lowlife-cassette

Update:
National Audio is so fucking backed up that we unfortunately do not have these tapes yet. It has been about 7 weeks thus far. I think we are jinxed.

last time we used NAC for j cards they quit responding, then all of a sudden the finished products showed up without ever receiving a proof, which we would have adjusted. they called about a month ago and had us go through our own PayPal records to verify that they didn't know where they put the money we sent them for an order that went through in october or september (didnt receive til late January). i think the switch over to "cassetro" may be them trying to reorganize their shitty business practices. either way, looks like we are all gonna be dealing with them until A to Z learns to answer emails or someone else in the entire country steps up to the plate.

Do you guys call or just send emails?? I always talk To Samantha "Sam" whenever I'm doing an order and let her know when I need them and she's come through no sweat. Weird. Hope I'm not in for a surprise here shortly...

These tapes have finally come in.
We still need to assemble the covers and then mail To Live a Lie his copies, but this should be for sale very soon.

Review from Seitan Worship: seitan-worshipper.blogspot.com/2013/06/low-life.htmlSick/Tired are one of those acts in grind that blend powerviolence and hardcore almost perfectly. This release, titled Lowlife, is a "re-imagining" of their Highlife LP, first seven-inch, and demo. The track Highlife starts off the tape, and it is a bombshell of an opener. It eases its way into the grind, and when it hits it hits hard. Blast-beats upon blast beats with some intense vocals and riffing that makes the track, seguing seamlessly into a breakdown on the next track, Jonestown. Collapsed Lung brings the proverbial "mosh", with headbanging riffs and nice drum fills. Death in California starts off with a great two-step, one of my favorite parts of hardcore and sets back into grind. Sick/Tired are one of those unique bands in grind. They put together all of these parts to craft a sound that is menacing and wonderful at the same time. Instrumentally, they are all immensely talented. Overall, the cassette is superb. Hatchets/Razors has riffing that is great for this type of music -- the fret-board sweep. An ability to recreate music that has been already created by the same band and do it better than it was originally is immense talent. Busted Outlook, the last track on the cassette and probably the best, is a full scale thrash assault. Complete with soloing, this track rips from here to Hell and back. The metal influence is in full swing here and it works because the band is talented and creative. That is the most important thing with this kind of music; there are too many offerings that lack the kind of fire that is needed to be successful, whether it be on getting on the label of their choice or personal success like selling all copies of their new EP. Sick/Tired can hang with the lot, and sometimes the rest of them can't compare.
