Jordan, do you have any Pigment Vehicle stuff I could borrow when we meet up on Tuesday? Yeah for sure, all my CDs are back in Nelson but I can get you a flash drive with my favorite album of theirs.

P.S.: I fucking HATE Doseone. I used to love him but I think I've changed by tune. Would rather listen to some jams with some groove in it... been jamming Madvillan and MF Doom stuff more lately.

To whoever mentioned Prince earlier in this thread... there's nothing guilty about that. Prince is the shit.
I think the only thing I listen to somewhat regularly that could be considered a guilty pleasure would be Kings of Leon. Granted, I only listen to it in the car with my wife and I think the only time I've listened to it on my own was when that last album came out to see if it was any good, but I enjoy it. No shame.

Pigment Vehicle, i haven't heard that name in years. I saw them open for the Dayglo Abortion in 1997 or 98. Good set, although they were totally weird given the rest of the bill.

I love this. A bit Rush-y, the funky side of Gentle Giant and tons of Yes influence. Dopest American prog jams.

Wait I though of somthing.
I love Weezers Pinkerton. I like a good chunk of everything up to Maladroit. The first concert I went to was Weezer when I was 10-11 with my sister.

Yeah they were all Victoria friends and toured a couple times around then. I imagine the typical Dayglos crowd would be scratching their heads. Sadly I never saw them live.

I dunno if I'd call it a guilty pleasure, but I fucking love John McLaughlin/Mahavishnu Orchestra.

There isn't a lot of music outside punk or metal that I feel necessarily 'guilty' for listening to. I like a lot of neo-folk and some jazz, but am not heavily into either.
Actual GUILTY pleasure would be this:
Pop-punk was basically the first music that I got into ever - mainly NOFX, Bad Religion, Blink-182, etc - and while I hardly listen to it at all anymore, I still kind of have sentimental attachment to a lot of songs from above mentioned bands. I never even listened to Taking Back Sunday when I was into pop-punk but the emo in me has always liked this song.

I am digging on The new Doomsayers mashup of Wu Tang and Fugazi... Wugazi. Sleep Rules Everything Around Me has become some awesome guiltiness to listen to.
