Paying my car payment and then on the same day having to put a grand into it after it broke down leaving work.

Not playing any music for over a year I feel that man, I had to take some time off from mid-2016 to the last quarter of 2017 because my anxiety was fucking terrible after quitting smoking cigs. Couldn't drive anywhere without feeling like my body was going to explode. Three cheers for my therapist and mild pharmaceuticals... Paying my car payment and then on the same day having to put a grand into it after it broke down leaving work. ooof I feel this too, cars always be doin' this shit...alternator, transmission?

I replaced my alternator this time last year lol.. this time around my fuel injectors went bad and had to be replacing. I was trying to leave working when my engine decided to throw a misfire and shake like it needed a fix. Luckily there was a shop a half mile down the road. Driving it with the engine light flashing and it misfiring for that half mile was rough though. I got three payments left.. fingers crossed it makes it through the year so I can probably get another one.

Finding a box of CDs to be somehow mostly smashed when securely stored in the moving truck. Absolute bullshit.

My car is due for new brakes which will probably be AU$450 or so, and it has over 200,000km on the clock, thinking of just seeing what I can get cheap second hand... anything newer than 1998 would be nice

The back sounds worse now, especially backing up and breaking at first. so i suppose that'll be next on the list... last payment is in May, so I'm hoping to just get it through then and way my options. It still has life in it, I'm at 122k but I don't want to be pouring hundreds into it every couple months.

That's why I bought a volvo. Thirty year old car and it's still more reliable than any other I've had. Crafty swedes man.

It was fine until this time last year. I drove it off the lot with 25 miles and put all the rest on it since. I drive all over creation it feels like, maybe just wear and tear.
