watched two horrible movies this week.... Morning Glory (2010) and We're the Millers (2013).
Morning Glory is just a run of the mill chick flick that tries to incorporate an ethical media obligation message. Rachel McAdams is kind of hot and Harrison Ford acts like a dick the whole movie... which were the only redeeming factors. I chose this at random to watch and write a lengthy essay on for a class... what a mistake!
We're the Millers is a typical bungling dope dealer movie. Dude gets caught up in things beyond his control and has to deal with the consequences. It had a couple funny scenes/dialogue (especially with Scottie P), but overall it was just too predictable/formulaic to be considered good. Nick Offerman plays a DEA agent, Jennifer Aniston does a lengthy strip scene, and Ed Helms acts like a dick the whole movie... which were the only redeeming factors. Googled "best comedies of 2013" and this popped up on some generic list so I decided to check it out.... what a mistake!

Watched 30 Days of Night recently. Not bad, visually it was really cool but I had to stare at Josh Hartnett's stupid face for almost two hours.

Will do. I'm not a big fan of satanic stuff, but I liked the violence and thought the actors were really into their parts. The same guy gave me a free Faceless tape when I bought Alucarda and a couple others, and after just viewing it I can say that is one of my new-found favorites.

Either way, I've been meaning to pick it up. I've seen bits and pieces and it looks great. Campy Satanism.

I find alot of European (especially german) silent films had some crazy production Values. Haxam is no exception. Its a eerie movie with really surreal effects. Satan is the man

it is Haxan not Haxam. Killjoy has a band called that. Got Eaten Alive today, time to rewatch that fried classic.

I watched "Mandy" a few days ago and it was pretty sick actually.I never thought i would like a Nick Cage movie unironically. Also just took the old lady to see the new Halloween movie. Its good, kind of and old school vibe or whatever.

Its good, kind of and old school vibe or whatever. Thought it was a killer revenge film that brought the good stuff all together in one place, i.e. bit of Hellraiser, kinda Charlie Manson type cult, Phantasm and Evil Dead refs. Visually, it was incredible and I'd watch it again solely for that. Cage is a good "good man scorned" too.
