oh shit nice. I wish I had a roller one like that. Turning mine SUCKS. I basically just compost to get rid of organic waste, because I'll never generate enough compost to even put a dent in my garden. good thing those cows shit all the damn time!

I built one out of a 55 gallon drum that had pickles in it. I would give it to you if you weren't so far away.

Just read your coffee grind mushroom blog. Seems simple enough. I might try to buy a kit. I was looking up how to grow from scratch with spores and some seem simple but also like there's a lot of room to err. I think a kit would be the ideal way for me. Thanks.

Thanks. yeah dude, you pretty much can't fail with the kit! you should buy it straight from fungi.com too. I got mine off amazon, but will order directly from the company now. I'm going to try some of their plug kits for outdoors in the spring too. I'm glad that some people are reading this shit!! also start saving your coffee grounds now!

I'm moving into a house with a yard in a couple of weeks. I'm excited to see how the sun hits certain spots in the backyard because I really want to make some raised bed veggie gardens. If this fantasy comes to fruition I will be hitting this thread up asking for the sage wisdom of you other food growers.

this was just some experimental no-till pitching in the greenhouse and outside. The real planting won't be for a while.

do you till normally? I can't bring myself to try no-till, but part of it has to do with the fact that my soil is basically all clay, and I'm trying to till in as many amendments all the time as I possibly can. I'm going to be doing some more cover crop experiments though, that may solve some of my problems.

No records in the mail but I got a big bag of worms.
And started some seeds for tomatoes, broccoli, collard greens, sunflowers, lavender, echinacea, carrots, radishes and I think some others but can't remember.

Got one of those clay pots that have the multiple openings along the side of it. Gonna have an herb garden going in it. Also my broccoli and tomatoes have sprouted. Pretty excited to be able to have a decent garden this year. Next up is building raised beds.
